The Problem of a No Kill Midlands is in Reach

Who We Are

Each year, approximately six million animals enter US shelters, including nearly 6,000 right here in the Midlands. Sadly, nationwide over two million of those will be killed as a result of shelter overcrowding and lack of resources.

The Animal Mission believes that every healthy or treatable animal that enters our shelters can, and should, be saved. The pathway to making that belief a reality is through spay and neuter. We’re already making sizable gains in our area’s live release rate, while also improving the quality of life for pets in shelters while they await their forever homes. With your support, we can close the gap and achieve No-Kill status for the Midlands of SC.
